Being Hopeful (But I Kept Myself Humbled)

Dear #beingjtran🌻❤️,

I am so proud how far you have come. You have worked hard to get to where you are right in this moment. Don’t ever forget those challenges and obstacles you have had to endure to get to where you are now. The hustle is incredible.

Opportunities come and go. Sometimes it just means it was not meant to be and it is absolutely okay because something bigger and better will come your way.

Good for your for staying as humbled as you did. I know there was an ounce of hope you were holding onto because it was an opportunity you wanted so bad.

I know you learned a long time ago that getting your hopes up only just watch them fall can bring a fragile heart.

Good for you for having realistic expectations and understanding this is a competitive world. You put yourself out there, gave it your best shot and you learned from it.

Now pick your head up, put a smile on, get back out there and do it again because you’re absolutely worth more than you believe sometimes.

It’s a dog-eat-dog world; make it worth your wild every step of the moment from here on out. Remember who you are. You’ve been through some shit to be able to share it with all of the world. Independent. Hardworking. Hustler. Boss.

Stay in your lane, full speed. You got this.

With love for yourself,

Reader: It’s okay to recollect your thoughts sometimes. Write to yourself when you need to remind yourself of your goals and dreams. Every single word I wrote came from my heart. These are my absolute raw words to myself. And after just a few tears, I’m smiling again because I have to. Realize your worth. I promise you’ll find more confidence in yourself and peace in your mind and heart.

Always, with love and support,

Relatable + Empathetic (2019)
