Being Kind (Challenge)

Happy Monday Reader! I hope you’re coming fresh off an amazing weekend. Looks like we got quite a bit of sun in San Diego this past weekend and we are starting to heat up.

Today’s blog post is a little different than what I normally would do. I want to start the week off on good vibrations. I want you to look more in yourself and determine what is most the rewarding thing to you in this life we live. For me, it’s being kind.

Kind: a four-letter word with such significant meaning. One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is kindness.

“Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.”

We all walk the walk and talk the talk but you never truly know what someone is going through. So for this week, I challenge you to spread acts of kindness.

First, be kind to yourself. Look yourself in the mirror or write down on a sticky note what you love about yourself. It can be anything.

Second, go spread kindness out in the world. Take a moment to contact your close loved ones and tell them how much you appreciate them. Go out of your way to do something kind for another person; can be someone you know or a stranger.

And last, the real test: be kind to any unkind person(s) you come across this week because that is just who you are.

I hope you all have a great start to your week with this. Post it up, tag me and share your acts of kindness this week. I’ll give an update at the end of the week with my experiences.

Until the next post,

With love and support,

Relatable + Empathetic (2019)
