Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix

Are you locked inside your home at the moment due the world’s massive pandemic? Of course you are and if you’re like me – you’re probably doing a lot of cooking and a lot of snacking.

If you’ve ever been to Red Lobster, you know the best part of that place is their biscuits. I love biscuits: the crisp on the outside and the warm soft breading on the inside.

I bought a box of the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix from Vons and I’ve had in my cupboard for quite some time. I have been wanting to make them to see how they turn out.

Throwing the biscuit mix, water, and sharp cheddar cheese together, I was excited to finally try them. The sharp cheddar cheese mixed into the dough looked amazing. It practically had my mouth salivating.

I scooped nine servings and placed them on a prepped baking sheet and tossed them in the oven.

In a bowl I tossed the butter to melt and added the herb garlic seasoning. Mixed together, I pulled the biscuits out and pour the goodness flavor over each biscuit. I let it cool for a couple of minutes, placed them in a bowl and we were ready to eat.

Super yummy;. If you’ve never tried this mix, you should give it a shot especially if you love biscuits as much as I do. Or just bread in general.

Let’s just say, being quarantine has gotten me using my oven more than normal.

During this time, remember that although we’re sheltering ourselves with our loved ones, cooking and sharing snacks can bring so much warmth in the heart.

Be safe!
